A good review regarding this lodging is here: Kona by the Sea Comment. This hotel now seems to be run by ResortQuest- it's located in Kailua-Kona, Big Island. The prices I checked shows it to be a medium-cost condominium.

My thoughts
Kona by the Sea is about 5 minutes from Kailua-Kona but still a quiet and relaxing get-away from the city. Reviewers said the units were spacious and the staff helpfull with questions and complaints.
