My thoughts
The Princeville Resort had mixed reviews with many thinking the decor was rather out-dated and the weather bad. On the plus side the hotel has excellent views, accomodating service, and activities including a pool, beach, gym, and golf course.

Lisa's notes
Regarding the weather - the Princeville resort is on the North Shore of Hawaii. The North Shore is rainy - although not as rainy as Hilo, it is one of the rainier areas in Kauai. Most of the rain will come at night, but there will be days when you won't see the sun up there. The nice thing about Kauai, is it's only a 40 minute drive to Poipu, where there is almost always sunshine.
