My thoughts
The Kaanapali Beach Hotel is by no means a luxury hotel. Many reviewers thought the hotel was a great deal for the money and location. Those that had complaints mostly mentioned the dated nature of the units and grounds while those that were happy with the hotel weren't in their rooms much at all. If you want to be pampered and relax in luxury this is not the place for you. If you need a nice place to sleep and plan to explore the island of Maui on your vacation then Kaanapali Beach Hotel is perfect.
