    • The Maui Islander is located walking distance to Lahaina and many other tourist attractions. It is also located near a major highway which makes getting to points or interest very easy and fast. Many complained about the daily parking fee and felt that the units were run-down and in need of renovation. Most thought the staff were friendly but a few had trouble getting their needs and accomodations met. Over all this is a great place to stay if you don't need room service and beach front and if you don't plan to stay in your hotel room the whole time.
