Preparer's notes
The Papakea is located about 10 minutes from Lahaina offering a central home base for most vacation excursions. There is a modest beach at the hotel with excellent snorkelling and whale watching. There is also a putting green, pool and jacuzzi with ocean view. It is a condo property so there is some varience in quality of the units. It is suggested to look at your room before you decide which to stay in. The staff was always seen as very accomodating and friendly even when the guests were unsatisfied. Most said the accomodations were adequate and the property was a great value which they would recomend to others.
