August 5th, 2005 -- I searched three major search engines for several Coral Reef related terms including "review Coral Reef", and "stayed Coral Reef".

I found 25 useable reviews -- 17 positive ones, and 8 negative ones.

Preparer's notes
The Coral Reef is a budget hotel without many amenities and services, its main attraction is the location in downtown Waikiki and its proximity to the beach. Many reviewers thought the hotel was run-down and dirty but most didn't mind because of the location and price.

Of the people who liked the Coral Reef, the reasons they liked it were:

• 7 said: they felt the location was excellent being right near the beach and anything else they might need
• 10 said: the staff was accomodating - one man said the staff helped them with the elevator when getting a disabled friend up to their room
