October 14th, 2005 -- I checked several major engines for phrases that related to the Waikiki Surf like "we stayed at the Ohana Waikiki Surf Hotel". I found 25 real appraisals -- 19 people approved of the Waikiki Surf while 6 disapproved of the hotel.

Preparer's notes
Ohana Waikiki Surf is a low budget hotel with small rooms, few amenities but an excellent location. The staff was described as accomodating and helpful when planning tours around the island. There is a bus stop just outside that will take you all around the island and back again for a low fare. A few people complained of noise from other rooms and the street and didn't like paying $10+ for parking. The hotel is an old building but many said the rooms were still adequate and kept fairly clean. This is a great hotel for a couple on a budget but not the best place for a family with kids.
